bridges

A bridge is a series of crowns that replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges are usually made of porcelain with an invisible gold framework for added strength.

But why replace a missing tooth?

Teeth are held together in tension. Once a tooth is removed, the adjacent teeth collapse into the space, causing the bite to change. Changes in the bite can cause problems in the jaw joint (TMJ), gum disease, decay, premature tooth wear and difficulties in chewing.

A bridge is an excellent way to replace missing teeth and maintain the bite.
