Crowns

When a tooth is severely damaged from cracks, fillings or wear, a crown will make the tooth look, feel and function likes a natural tooth.

A crown or “cap” is a covering placed over a tooth that protects the tooth from further damage. Placing a crown usually requires two visits to our office. At the first visit, the tooth is shaped for the crown and a temporary crown placed. At the second visit, the temporary crown is removed and the final crown bonded into place. The final crown will last for years to come.
